We had a lot of fun on Saturday at the SHINE09 unconference for social entrepreneurs playing through ways in which social enterprise plus added social tech could help with neighbourhood renewal. Full report here, including download of the cards that we used.
We were in 2010 with a new Minister for Civil Society (played by Cliff Prior of Unltd) explaining how the big central funds would be cut, and much more emphasis placed on support for locally-generated initiatives.
At one point Cliff announced a new empowerment fund was being created from repaid MPs expenses... which hit Twitter ... and was almost believed.
Next play of the game will be at Net Tuesday, London June 2.
